Virginia Sheriffs' Association

The Virginia Sheriffs' Association was organized in 1933 to represent sheriffs' and deputies' interest across Virginia. Today, the Association has progressed to a point where it is recognized as one of the most active law enforcement organizations representing public safety in Virginia. The Virginia Sheriffs' Association maintains significant involvement in the Virginia General Assembly and in the activities of agencies of the Commonwealth of Virginia relating to criminal justice. The Association is primarily interested in improving professionalism in law enforcement and enhancing working conditions for sheriffs and deputies. It is a professional trade association of which contributions are not tax deductible.
