Please join your fell sheriffs, deputies and members of the General Assembly for VSA’s Legislative Reception on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Hear about VSA’s legislative efforts and receive talking points to help you when speaking with your delegates and senators on behalf of VSA. On Wednesday, January 17, 2024 sheriffs and deputies will meet for coffee at 7:30 am with the Honorable Winsome Earle-Sears at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Following coffee attendees are requested to meet with their members of the General Assembly to discuss the VSA's legislative efforts. We need to send a strong message of unity for VSA's legislative efforts. Please plan on attending and flooding the halls of the General Assembly with sheriffs and deputies (in uniform please).

Schedule of Events:

Tuesday, January 16th:

Arrive in Richmond and Hotel Check-in (Hotel on Own)

5:30 - 7:00 pm - VSA Reception - Riverfront Plaza East Tower Lobby

Wednesday, January 17th:

7:30 - 8:00 am - Full Breakfast with the Honorable Winsome Earle-Sears at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor

8:30 - 10:30 am - Meet with your legislators - General Assembly Building

10:45 am - Group Photo on the Capitol Steps

11:15 am - Please be in the House of Delegates or Senate Gallery

for introduction by a member on the House/Senate Floor
